A fitted ceiling that is put below a room’s or house’s original ceiling is known as a false ceiling. It creates the appearance of a lower ceiling and is typically suspended by metal frames.
When compared to a Gypsum Board False Ceiling, a Grid False Ceiling, sometimes called a T-Grid Ceiling, is not the same. The structure is a Modular grid work of channels shaped like an inverted T. The Main T, Cross T – 2 feet, Cross T – 4 feet, and Wall Angle are the four channels that make up a standard T-Grid Framework. A 2 x 2 ft or 2 x 4 ft grid system is formed once these 4 components are installed thanks to an interlocking feature, and this is where the selected False ceiling tile is inserted.
The benefit of a Grid false ceiling is that it requires less maintenance than regular false ceilings. For any kind of maintenance task, the false ceiling tiles are simply removable and replaceable.
